Miles off.
Accrington only, I only do research on Accys history.
I'll refrain from being sarcastic about the nature reserve in Ossy.

I used to know the lady who lived in the third house from the right, related to Kemp of Kemp and Murrays butchers in Wellington St.

Is it the row of houses just off Pennyhouse Lane?
No wrong part of Accrington you need to be a mile further south than Penny House.

Hill St in Bash has twice as many houses, and where would the lane be approaching them.
The cottages in the picture are far older than Hill St.

Am looking into my crystal ball .. images are appearing of heights and a spire near by.
Move over Mystic Meg ...
Doe's the crystal ball mean you are a witch then.
Although some of your guesses or are coming close, or are you asking other people for the answers.
Admit you have never seen those cottages.
The next picture puzzle will really stump you, when you've properly answered this one .

Just something I remembered from childhood walks (yes, we did a lot of walking then). Have searched myself too, as with your other puzzles ...
Anyway, research also includes asking knowledgeable people about a subject I would have thought ? Although, bet you are too proud to do this
Are these cottages up the sandy lane path? if you walk all the way round.

You've won yourself the coconut, HEIGHT's Cottages.
But whats the name of the Farm.
Its not Heights that further down near Broad Oak.
And while your at it whats the name of the lane that leads from New House Farm and goes past the end of the lane that leads to Heights.
You won't find that on goggel earth.

All the way round where, if you stay on Sandy Lane you wont see them.
Need to turn right at New House farm.
Sand Lane goes all the way to the Kings Highway, but now you have to cross the Easterly Bypass.

Is it Higher Hey Farm?
Sorry Higher Hey is 700 yrds South East, of height Cottages.
Higher Hey which is the 2nd oldest property in Accrington, is also cut off by the Bypass now.
