Big D already closed?

i reckon that shop would of been better used as a B & M than the former kwik save store

If Glynn Webb couldnt make a profit there it stands to reason that another retailer selling the same sort of goods would fail too. Glynn Webb used to be busy when it sold mainly cheap paint and wallpaper. When it started selling cheap vases, kitchen utensils and furniture it went downhill.
As it is away from the town centre it needs to sell (cheaply) something that cant be got in town --suggestions anyone?

I think it would with a little work make a brilliant car dealership, there is so many uses for a building of that size in such a good location.

As a slight aside the place underneath the bingo hall which I think is now a car mechanics place used to be a warehouse for the CO-OP that was in the centre of town. All the electrical goods were kept there. Certainly multi-use buildings in that part of town :)

it would be a good place for a car dealership but the area is not conventiant

dont know what it should be maybe a jjb or jd out of store retail park thing.
