Bits & Bobs

[Lemur]

yes his debut for us lasted 5 minutes,

[cashman]

Never realised he was Alvins son.

[VALAIRIAN]

Anybody remember David Martin, young goalkeeper we had on loan from Liverpool way back in 2007?
He's been around a bit since then but finally made his Premier League debut today at the age of 33 for West Ham & was in tears after they beat Chelsea with his Dad watching who himself played for the Hammers - very touching moment

Remember it well, not the only loan keeper we have had injured....

Good luck to the lad, hope he finds some regular football somewhere.

[StanleyJosh]

Poor attitude let the lad down in the end.
Was poor every time I saw him play.
Hope the same doesnt happen to Andy Scott who looks promising, he needs another loan spell and to be playing men’s football.

Apparently Stevenage have appointed that nice Mr. Westley for what will be his fourth spell in charge of them - they deserve each other

made a decent start back. only beaten 5-1. results like that is what i dream about. if only macclesfield could get their act together we might see the end of stevenage as a league club.
