im Diego from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. joined the forum to read more about Accrington Stanley Football Club :) watched their game vs Nottingham Forest in Carling Cup last season and they definetly got my attention. the club that wouldn't die :cool:

im a football fanatic, love watching british football and am called crazy for following the smaller leagues in England lol i dont care. in Brazil i support Flamengo, the club with the biggest fan base here, around 35 million.. u should read about us, we are great :D

im probably going to visit England next year and if it really happens Accrington will be one of the places i would go for sure :D

Hi, as probably a lot of people from Accrington, I have "sort of" connections with Rio de Jan, all because of the famouse HOWARD AND BULLOUGHS which used to be here in Accrington. My granny's brother in law went out there in the early 1920's as an outfitter and then, when he thought the time was right, sent for his wife and 2 kids. The two girls still live out there to this day, one unmarried and one married to a South American guy.
I have a beautiful tray on the wall in this very room my computer is in, which came from Rio de Jan

Rio and Accy have more in common than you might think....

Every time I've been to Rio (5) it's been coated in minging Accy style drizzle:D

Class A narcotics are easy to find in both locations too. Or so I hear.

That being said I shall not be spending my next hols back in accy but might pop via Rio with the girlfriend (who is from Sao Paolo....)


I too would love to know mroe about Howard & Bulloughs Brazil connections.....
