After reading some of the back copies of the blog...my goodness you must've been bored!
Having said that I re-read my back copies......and I know what happened, but they still make me laugh sometimes and make me cry other times(must be getting soft in my old age).
Jen was asking what happened to my short story.....well, nothing.....I sent it off and never heard another peep.
There was only one prize and I didn't win it........so I guess my writing wasn't so crash hot after all.
I have let one or two folk read it(well, I know I posted it on here too) and the few who read it told me that they had enjoyed it...well, they would say that wouldn't they?
They aren't going to say 'Margaret, that was a right load of old cabbage' were they?????
I still have it on disk somewhere and keep thinking that perhaps it would go down well with the readers of something like People's Friend....though I am not sure if that would be something I would want to advertise.
So hey ho, my dreams of becoming a published author fell at the first fence.
