life is cruel, im struggaling to put this into words, but here goes, we got the awfull news about 6 weeks ago that dan has roughly 2 to 3 yrs to live, he has just finished 6 weeks every day of radiotheraphy we will see what the results are in a few weeks.

now dan was 19 on 22nd of september .......our philip & his wife arranged for him to meet the rovers footy players he was well made up. on saturday 26th sept he had a party, it was fantastic & has renewed my faith in youngsters ..cos at this party there were a load of dans school friends & college friends there & boy do they love & support him, we had a terrific night with them all, & what a polite bunch they were too.

as yet dan is coping very well he is rather tired after his radiation but hopefully he will be ok from tommorrow onwards.

may say thanks to you all once again for your support through this time .......love mez x x

Never give up hope, Mez (I know you won't). Many a time limit has been proved wrong but, if it isn't, just make sure he lives his life to the full (I know you will).

I haven't met you - well, maybe at school over 55 years ago but neither of us remembers - but I will keep you and him in my thoughts and pray (yes, even agnostics can do that) for a good outcome. - Cath
