I know one little girl who is going to be very very happy today.
Over the weekend we had the potlids and there was friction over the bike......to be fair it IS tiddlers bike, but Madam was most dischuffed when he would not give her a turn, and sulked like a professional...mouldy face, arms folded......and bottom lip stuck out. You get the picture. I would have taken a picture of the shape of her, but you know....both of my camera's are new.......and the face on her would have turned milk sour, so I wasn't going to risk my camera.

She sidled up alongside her Grandad and asked him to get her a bike of her own......she didn't want to ride the 'baby bike'...because she is a 'big girl' now.
Grandad was like putty in her chubby little hands....and he said we would look for one.

Today we went down town and wandered around the flea market.
There it was! The perfect bike for her Madamship......pink, with tassels from the handles, push buttons that play music and send little pink lights scurrying around the handlebars, and a silver frame.....this will match the trainers she has just been bought.
She likes things to match!

Hubby looked at it and pronounced that it was 'too dear'......and that he would rather buy a new one.
I told him 'In that case don't expect any change out of £50'....he has no idea of the prices of such things....so we had a walk around and I could hear the cogs turning(slowly).
The next news was he was going back to the stall and buying the 'too dear' bike.

Ok, so it is a Barbie bike(daughter will not let her have any Barbie Mechandise) but this is not a typical barbie thing it is a Fairytopia bike. Now her Madamship loves all things fairy....so I reckon it is going to be a great hit.
I hope it stays fine until she gets home from pre-school...then at least she can have a bit of a play out on it.
there should be no more arguments about bikes now....well, unless you know any different!

Bernie, I live in hope.

I can see me taking my life in my hands just going out to get the washing in.
She has absolutely no fear and hurtles around like a demon possessed when she has his bike.....let's hope that pink is a calming colour :D
